Leadership Development

Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for high-quality mathematics teaching and ready to take the next step in your career?

Through the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) and Möbius Maths Hub, we offer fully funded training for maths teachers who want to become Local Leaders of Mathematics Education (LLMEs).

This nationally led professional development programme is delivered by the NCETM and is designed to develop confident, skilled leaders who can drive improvement in maths education.

LLMEs work across a range of schools and settings. Drawing on their own experience and expertise, they support the work of the Maths Hub and lead high-quality professional development for other teachers.

For many LLMEs, leading Maths Hub work offers an alternative to the traditional route into senior leadership, providing the opportunity to develop leadership skills while leading professional development for colleagues.

As an LLME, you’ll deepen your expertise, grow as a leader and play a key role in strengthening mathematics teaching across your local area.
