Tuesday 28 January 2025 Liam Hughes of Curridge Primary School - what's it like being a Mastery Specialist I am the Year 4/5 teacher at Curridge Primary School, West Berkshire and also the Maths lead (and PE, Science and Computing). I've been teaching for 10 years but have been involved with the maths hub for the last five after being introduced to mastery at my last school. When the opportunity to become a specialist myself came up, I jumped at the chance and was then able to receive some expert training both on maths and on subject leadership.

Monday 22 January 2024 Teaching for Mastery - Open Lessons We are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to join one of our teaching for Mastery specialists (TFMS) in an open lesson. The session will start with the TFMS setting the lesson in context then you will observe the lesson (or part of) with a focus on one of the Five Big Ideas. Afterwards there will be a discussion around what was observed and the impact with a chance to ask questions.
