Mastery Readiness - Now Recruiting

The Mobius Maths Hub are now recruiting primary schools for the Mastery Readiness programme.

The Work Groups in this project will develop vital skills and practices for schools who have an identifiable barrier to developing teaching for mastery across the school. Participant schools will access free workshops and regular high-quality, bespoke support of a trained Mastery Readiness Lead and will then progress to be part of the full Teaching for Mastery Development Work Group in Autumn 2021, with the associated funding.

The Work Groups focus on two key areas:

  • The development of effective leadership that will remove barriers and put in place structures to support change and teacher professional development in relation to teaching for mastery.
  • Development of classroom culture and attitudes to mathematics that will support a teaching for mastery approach, both on the part of teachers and their pupils.

At Mobius, our Readiness Work Groups Leads are: Gill Knight, Natalie Ivey, Tina Evans and Jo Cronin.
