Across special schools and SEND provisions, teaching mathematics comes with unique opportunities, challenges and rewards - and the right support can make a powerful difference.
Our focus is on supporting all pupils to build confidence, enjoy learning maths and achieve - whatever their starting point or individual needs.
We bring together teachers from mainstream schools, special schools and alternative provision to share ideas, learn from one another and try out approaches that help pupils with SEND take part in maths lessons, work through barriers and make real progress.
Together, the NCETM and Mobius Maths offer support that recognises the diversity of SEND settings and learners. This includes:
